Damansara Hokkien Mee

Once read the title, i’m sure you know i am talking about food again. :p

Went to this Damansara Hokkien Mee at Uptown Damansara for supper. Was recommended by Stanley.

They had a menu, listing only like 9-12 types of food. They had hokkien mee, cantonese style fried mee, loh mee, fried rice, Yee mee etc etc.. but they dont have my favourite - ‘Dry fried Hor Fun’. And you are restricted to order what’s on the menu only. (yea, i know it’s pretty logic.)

Note: Forgotten to bring my camera, snapping with my hp, sorry about the picture quality.)

I love all the food. They were delicious. Not overly fried, not too oily.

Heard from stanley, this Damansara Hokkien Mee was famous and it was a branch which he-also-dunno-where.

They only open at night till late. It’s really a good place for supper.

You dont have to go McD or mamak after clubbing. Keke.

Location: Restauran Damansara Hokkien Mee, Uptown Damansara.
Business Hour: Open at night till late
Taste: Great. Delicious

At the same time, next to our table.

Yes, we saw malays.

What’s the big deal? you may ask.

Huh? Are u kidding me? This is obviously a non-halal chinese restaurant selling typical non-halal fried mee.

What are they doing here? And obviously, they cant really eat those food. (At least, not in public…like this.. :p)

And we saw this

BEER !!! Wei, they can drink beer meh???

I didn’t know that.

I mean, ok la, it’s pretty normal that a lot of malays did do something against their agama, but now it’s so obvious and being seen in public, not so good gua.

And the table next to these malays, we saw 2 more people who look 99% like malay, who were EATING.

Allow me to say “Wah Lau”, how come they are so daring? Ok, the time was like 1 something in the morning, so they can do anything against their agama?

After a small gossiping and discussion, we concluded that, they might not be malays. They might be some Sabahan or Sarawakian.
Coz they can eat pork, right?
