Uniquely Singapore 02 - Black Pepper Crab
Continue from last post.
Yes, this was what i was talking about - the biggest event of the day.
Ever since i saw the post in Caker’s Blog about this black pepper crab, I’ve been telling Caker to bring me to this Black Pepper crab. (Although the pictures taken were not convincing, but i was attracted to the name - black pepper crab.)
So, on the first day we arrived Singapore, we cant wait to go for these crabs.
We reached this Eng Seng Restaurant before 5pm.
Guess what, there was a queue already! Can you imagine how famous was this pepper crab??

But luckily, we dont have to queue. We took the last table at the corner. Happily order our crabs and patiently waiting for the crabs.
There were not much tables there, roughly about 15 tables.

After waiting for more than 30mins, our food finally were served !
LOOKING EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!!!

The Mayonnaise Yau Char Guay

The Chilli Crab - there were 3 crabs here.

Deliciousssss !!!! Ich-ban des neh !!
The Black Pepper Crab - also 3 crabs here.

Wei, by seeing these pictures, I feel like going back to Singapore for these !!
Everyone was well prepared for the crabs …

Do you think Caker looks better without glasses?
Jim and his Mrs. :p

Mr Yam and HK

Where was myself??? I was holding camera … :(
After those pictures, everyone start eating crabs, and forgotten about taking my picture. But never mind, that’s not important at all. I myself cant wait to eat also. Keke.
I tell you, those crabs were really yummy-licious.
Firstly, those pictures already helped to show you.
And now, Jim will show you.

It’s Fingers Licking good !!

Overly exciting when eating crabs, till he decided to bring back some souvenir - the Stains. Haha.
About 30mins of actions, we managed to finish everything.
No rice, no noodles. Only crabs!
We were all satisfied.

it sure look nice but i had eaten in another location at 180 Yio Chu Kang Road. Its called House of Seafood @180. The crab is much better unlike the one at joo chiat place. The black pepper sauce is much more thicker than the ones at Joo Chiat Place. The crabs is much bigger in size and more flesh as it is really frm the Sri Lankan unlike the Vietnamese crab they used for the Joo Chiat Place. I strictly recommended you to try at House Of Seafood @180. You will sure like the crab there….FOR SURE YOU GOING TO LOVE IT!!!!!!
