Restaurant Look Out Point - KL City View

Seen the recommendation at Rojaks’ daily about this Look Out Point Restaurant at Hulu Langat highway plus Daniel’s invitation, we decided to go for a try.

It was located up the hill. Chilling and fogy. We were able to see the beautiful night scene of whole Kuala Lumpur.

Night Scene of Kuala Lumpur

Once you see the style of the restaurant’s decoration, you can tell it was run by Malay. [Daniel's comment] When the time we arrived, it was not crowded. They have like about slightly more 10 tables in the restaurant.

The Environment

Being quite kiasu this time, we took the table at the side where we were able to see the view without any blocks.

Looks pretty good, taste… Hmm…

Daniel's Thumb Down

Daniel: NO WAY. The steak was too well done.

The waiter did not ask when ordering the steak. Not professional. Therefore, all the steaks were over cooked. It was the worst steak ever.

My Sizzling BBQ chicken was normal. That would be quite safe to order chicken chop. Hehehe.

What tasted very good? It was the HAM with cheese tasted the most yummy of all.

Night views were gorgeous, beautiful. When comes to food… hmm… pretty disappointed. Maybe next time should have order fried rice. :p

It was getting really cold when we were about to pay the bill.

Total damage: RM93.77 [5 person]

Oh ya, they did not state 5% government charge in the menu but it was charged in the bill.

Actually, this could be quite a cool place to hang out with buddies, chit-chatting, or dating, while enjoying the night view.

Here, I’ll include the direction to the Restaurant Look Out Point.

Look Out Point Restaurant and Cafe, Kompleks Pelancongan Menara Tinjau.
1.Exit the MRR2 at Pandan Indah Interchange.
2.Go straight until the T-Junction. Esso will be on your left. Turn right at the traffic light.
3.Take a left at the next traffic light
4.Take another left at the traffic light beside Puteri Plaza.
5.Turn right at the traffic light junction to Ulu Langat/Kajang. (Please take note on this, you might missed this.)
6.From this traffic light the road is winding for about 3 km.
7.Look out for the sign board “Menara Tinjau”.
8.Will come across a food court on the right with carpark. Turn in and drive up the hill to the LookOut Point Restaurant

Actually the directions were quite clear. Hope you can get there.

Such beautiful scene, I will not miss out by taking at least 1 picture with it.

Cely with KL night view as background

Did not bring tripod, this was the best I can take.

p/s: Was surprised that quite a few blogs saying the food was nice. Hmm… Maybe we were having bad luck that night.
