Hair Raising Experience At Pulau Ketam
It was a one day trip to Pulau Ketam. We have 14 people all together. Big Gang!
Attendee: Myself, Hongkiat, Syen, Wan Shen, Chelva, Daniel, Sze Lin, Andrew, Earl Ku, Yatz, Josephine, Belle, Magic (Philter) and Pui San.
All of us meet up at the Port Klang (north port), the Pulau Ketam Jetty at 12.30pm (supposedly) But you know, Malaysia culture - there must be someone else who came late :p
So, we as the come-on-time good girl good boy, we yum char at the kopitiam at jetty there.
Waited for 1 hour, the late-comers finally reached jetty. Thank godness. We then bought ferry tickets and head to the ferry. We gotto wait for the whole ferry is fully loaded before it will start moving. We waited for about 15mins.
In this 15mins, everyone was having fun time talking to each other. As for me, there were few new faces. It was like the ice-breaking session. Hehe.
Well, the owner of kukujiao.com will always greet friend this way. Say hi to the guys.
Wan Shen and Sze Lin was meeting for the first time.
Pulau Ketam was just 30mins away. We walked around, take pictures, cam whoring a bit. Then we hunt for the seafood. A lot have warn me that “Pulau ketam’s seafood not good, expensive”. I acknowledge that, but still, I haven been to Pulau Ketam, just let it be.
Finally decided to eat our lunch at this Restaurant Kim Hoe (Sungai Wang, ahahha)
Earl-Ku(kujiao) be the boss and ordered us crabs, prawns, fish, fried sotong and bamboo lala (Daniel called them bamboo lala). Wan Shen ordered some fried oyster with egg and fried lala with egg.
Ok, the crabs is crap! Doesn’t taste good. Lala jian (Fried lala with egg) don’t have much lala. The supposedly spicy bamboo lala was not spicy. Gam Hiong Crabs were not spicy also. Hmm… something wrong with the chef’s taste bud?
Andrew is a big eater. Pui San is crab sapu-er. I think Andrew and Pui San finished up the crabs.
After finish eating, all of them start drinking beer, stout, tequila (brought by earl) and the tasty tuak (Brought by Magic). I had a lot of fun seeing them talking loud, talk talk talk then laugh out loud. It was hilarious to see Sze Lin’s face turn to red after 1 glass of beer.
The kukujiao head also turn very red.
HAHAHA!
Staying at the restaurant for 2 hours, we decided to pay and went for a walk. Some of them got tipsy and head to the jetty instead. The rest of us went walking around the Pulau Ketam before leaving for good. The last ferry was said to be leaving at 6pm.
Seriously, Pulau Ketam very dirty, smelly and not developed. (I know someone gonna said “I Told you so”, yes i know but i still wanna see it for myself.) Everyone is riding a scooter or a motorize bicycle.
There have a lot of ‘The one and only one’ shop, like Only one Maybank, Only one school, Only one bomba, Only one police station, Only one clinic …
When I passed by a small path, I saw a lot of trash there. People just throw basically everything there, as if they don’t have any trash can. How do they clean up the trash everyday, I wonder. The hair saloon throw the hair there also. Yucks!
Finally something related to the title. Kekeke :p
I just dont think the title really suitable, as it has got nothing to do with me.. Hehehe.. It’s all because Daniel kena pluck some *hair* by Sze Lin. :p
Really enjoy their company. We are now planning for the next outing.

man… just a lunch trip already 400 over pictures. Imagine a 3D2N to an exotic island.
I read somewhere that a camera has an average 200,000 shutter clicks.

I’ve been to Pulau Ketam b4, ppl oso say the same thing “nothing much to see wan lah” but I still went. and still end up disappointed . yes .with filthy condition. But it is quite an experience visiting Pulau Ketam tho.
But, I didn’t makan at Pulau Ketam. I think we ate Telok Gong instead.
