Since we were staying at G Hotel at Gurney, which was only 5 minutes walk to the famous gurney drive, we had our first Penang meal there, right after the check in.

It was still quite early for the stalls to be open for business, it was only around 5pm. More than 50% of the stalls were still close.

We fast fast grabbed food like char kuay tiao, asam laksa, rojak, otak-otak, siput duri, longgan taufa, penang hokkien mee (prawn mee)… a lot right?

Before going to Penang, I asked Boss Stewie to recommend me some hotels, and he gave me names like “Shangri-la Hotel”. He said it was very nice there. Yea, I agree. But my pocket is not deep enough ler.

So, I asked leng jai Bryan, he said “Definitely, G Hotel! Just next to Gurney Plaza only”. Oh ya ya, I know where is gurney, got a lot of food there one!!! Gurney drive is just walking distance! Shiok. So I went and check out the website. The website is all flash, seems very classy and nice.

Despite the freak storm last few days, I am going to Penang tomorrow as planned. Will be back on Sunday.

Has been long time since my last visit to Penang, I think more than 2 years already. Miss the beaches, the food!

10. Helpless
You will agree with me if you are frequent to hair saloon. The hair stylist will tie/pin up your hair to some very weird style. :p

9. Slam Face
I was the one in the middle, my face was covered by Jamy’s hand. Wah lau, double chin also come out!!! All familiar face, Valarie(no longer blog), Wan Shen, Myself and Jamy. This was taken few years back in Kakilang Gathering, when were were still active in Kakilang - The online community.
