G Hotel at Penang
Before going to Penang, I asked Boss Stewie to recommend me some hotels, and he gave me names like “Shangri-la Hotel”. He said it was very nice there. Yea, I agree. But my pocket is not deep enough ler.
So, I asked leng jai Bryan, he said “Definitely, G Hotel! Just next to Gurney Plaza only”. Oh ya ya, I know where is gurney, got a lot of food there one!!! Gurney drive is just walking distance! Shiok. So I went and check out the website. The website is all flash, seems very classy and nice.

After some emailing asking questions on pricing with the G Hotel, I made the room booking. Heard from Erina, it was newly open, just 6 months old. Everything was new and clean there.

The light at the reception there keep changing, nice.

The lobby was damn nice, got designer chairs, spacious, and look so grand!

Look very nice, right? Once enter the hotel, I love it already. Just exactly like what Bryan said, “You’ll love it!”
After check in to the hotel, we were given our card key. The card key off coz use it for entering the room, activate the power in the room and one more function which I didn’t know about it, we have to use our card key to select the floor in the lift.
The room was kinda spacious also. I love the design. Clean and tidy! No stains, no crack, no funny smell.

There was no free wi-fi, but we can pay for it, RM20 for 24hours plus 1 hour free. Pretty affordable. Lilian said they pay more than RM60 for 24hours in KL hotels. hehehe lucky us.

So, what says you? Especially those who did not join us for the trip, the hotel Jeng mou? Jeng hor, Aaron?
Oh ya, the room rates is affordable. RM210 a night, without breakfast. Plus the tax, and internet connection, we pay RM 500+ for 2 nights. Quite okay la.

Personally, I prefer Gurney Hotel. Still on Gurney Drive but over the other end of the road.
Rooms are extremely large with a super king sized bed. So large that the room has 2 air-conds.
Toilet has jacuzzi and broadband Internet is free. Best of all, RM170 per night. :)
