Sorbet
Hi readers of chingling.net, I think cely is buzy watching her Taiwan drama series, so let me ?? a couple entry of two. I’ve got too many things I want to write but because the niche tak ngam, I cannot have them inside hongkiat.com. So I choose to guest blog in chingling.net.
Me and Cely were shopping in Bugis this evening and a particular brand name really caught my attention.
Sorbet

I’m not sure if this is a local brand, so please enlighten me. Sor means stupid in Chinese; while meaning of bet varies. It can mean backside but if people say c*bet, then it means something else.
“Wow, your skirt is nice, where you got’em from?”
“Versus. Your outfit dahsyat too, how about you?”

got this from wikipedia:
sorbet: is a frozen dessert made from iced fruit puree and other ingredients. The term “sherbet” is derived from the Turkish word for “sorbet”, ?erbat which in turn comes from Arabic. Adopted from French tradition, sorbets are traditionally served between the entrée (“appetizer” in North America) and main course in order to cleanse the palate.
