Beware! MSN Virus!
I received this in the morning, while I was still sleeping. My best fren- Jaeve trying to send me one zip file, asking me to check out her photoshop skill. If I was in front of my laptop the time she send me, I probably will accept the file without hesitation. I guess I will straight away open the file and ta dang, virus is stored in my laptop.
So when I woke in the afternoon, I told her about this file, off coz she was blur and saying she did not send anything to me. At the same time, my another friend Roland also sending me the same file.
Not long ago, I also received another message from other friend. He keep asking me to view his dunno what picture taken with his sister. Luckily I did not receive his file.
Once you open this file, you will also sending out the same thing to your friend via MSN. So beware of this. Remember to ask what kind of file is your friend sending before you take any action.

uhhh i never accept anything, some of u guys accpts file automatically and tarak antivirus sure tapau wan …
but i got a few which kept on sendin me some links, all the same ones, spyware most probably …

usually i will ask the person who sent me file before i receive it. Wait for their response then only i will receive it, if not i will cancel it :D

I once received one and open the zip file, but when I look at its content, I knew something was definitely wrong! Hahaha, it’s a virus. Then some of my friends also sent me the same thing… dang.
Yeah, just becareful when accepting those weird looking files loh. You can always ask them in MSN before accepting. If they cannot reply you at all, you know what that is loh… hohoho…

Oh ya… I got this from my colleague as well… It’s something “Do ya want to c my new pic”…then i type “what pic?”…then it auto reply “Don’t u remember that pic?”…after that i ask my colleague what pic…that time i only know she never send me any msg though… :S So geng ah…even can auto reply… luckily no zip file or link send to me~~

The lesson to learn is not to accept attachments or files from strangers, always ask them what they are sending, use a virus scanner or spyware scanner to scan the file before opening it. Heck even the scanner is useless, once the file is opened, the only solution is to reformat the PC or edit the registry. Hell it will also send copies of itself to your mailing list contacts. In a nutshell curiosity killed the cat.
I have been receiving comment spam lately, is there any way to circumvent this irritating problem???!!! Some advice would be helpful.

easyriderlovescs: but they are not strangers..those ppl who send files are friends from ur msn list. very seldom we suspect those files are virus. :)
spam comment at where? ur blog? for ur blog - blogspot, i think u just gotto activate the comment moderation. :)
or u means received spam message from msn? cant help much, last time i received, i just block those names and delete from my list. then no longer get anything from them liao~
