Changi Village and Steamboat
Last week we spent some money for good food! Haha.
Salad (Jim’s GF) brought us to Changi Village for dinner. Yea, Changi Village was far from Yishun (where we stay), approximately 20-30mins away, near to Changi Airport. Oh, sound near because Salad was driving.
Anyway, this Changi Village is just a name of the place. At first, I thought it was something like “Asia Cafe” at Subang, but then it was a normal kopitiam. Haha. Luckily the food was good. There are 5 of us, as usual - Me, Hongkiat, Caker, Jim and Salad.

Curry Fish Head - Superb!!!

Prawn Sauce Chicken

Fried Toufu

Sambal Kangkung
All of the above was good, especially the curry fish head. Almost every table also got order this one. Obviously, Curry Fish Head is the famous dish of the restaurant.
Very satisfying dinner!
This meal was quite cheap. Only cost us $39 bucks.
$39 bucks!!! Everyone go home like a 5-month pregnant woman! Haha.

The next day, we went for steamboat. Steamboat is always our favourite. Heard from Chardy, this steamboat restaurant was quite famous. Always long queue. Therefore we decided to try it out.

Sorry, camera spoilt already, using my w800i to snap, picture was not clear. :p
The food was free flow, it means you can take as much as you like. Eat all you can style. Oh, and drink all you can too! Of course not all kind of drinks la, they only provided lime juice, some liang cha ans sky juice. Good enough lo.

Their ’super spicy’ soup was quite spicy. We had different soup base for 2 separate pot. Tom Yam soup, Ma Lat soup and White soup (should be vegetable soup). I ate a lot of meat balls and Fried Fu Zhok. They are my favourites.
Super duper full dinner. I suppose we won’t have steamboat again in at least a month time.
But it was quite expensive for this round, $15 per head. But But free flow of food wo, buffet style wo, like this consider cheap already. But But But, I think i prefer Yuen Buffet Steamboat. Haha.
