My New Job
I know a lot of friends are concern about me working at my new job. Whether I can handle the job or not (I am totally know nothing about the job), whether I can get along with my colleagues or not, whether the boss is good or not … blah blah blah.

Okay la. everything so far so good. It is a big learning curve for me to handle this job. Colleagues are nice. The office is located at Raffles Place (Central Business District), a lot of leng lui OL, guai lou, professionals one. Whether or not I am one of the leng lui OL, you know it yourself la, don’t have to be so obvious okay? Muahaha. (I heard “fat OL got la, leng lui OL mou lei farn”)

Office at 15th floor at SIF building. SIF building is a very beautiful and nice building. Look quite classy. Office environment is okay. Remember during Indonesia Earthquake that time, we all felt the tremor, got evacuated and we went early lunch. Hehe. Because it high rise building (not very high, but at least 15 floor already ma).
Colleagues are good, young and energetic, talkative and funny, helpful and patient. There are 7 people in my team including myself. But there are around 15 people in that office. Almost everyone commented that I look fierce and quiet, cool and hard to get close with. Haih, not that I want. People always say I look fierce, can’t help it. But sooner or later when we get closer, they will change their mind. I have no worry about that.

Lunch is really something hard. Because it is crowded everywhere, especially food court. There is this ’tissue’ culture at food court. Everyone must bring tissue (those in packet one) to ‘chop’ seat at food court. I will take picture when got chance next time. Literally everyone do the same, like got mutual understanding. People put one pack tissue on the chair, then walk away to buy food. Others won’t remove the tissue to take the seat. This won’t happen at Malaysia, I guess. At least I never see that before, who care about the pack of tissue placing at the chair to chop the seat? Oh, I do see something funny at this food court, if you understand mandarin, read this.
Right now I am busy looking for rooms. Hope I can get a room before October, else Caker and Jim Jim gotto ‘take care’ of us for longer time liao. Hahaha.

back in malaysia, they’d probably take the tissue, your spot and makan there ^___^
in my office canteen, the stall owners would reserve tables by putting drinks on the table to denote that it’s been reserved.
