Company Kick Off Event 2008

This was my so-called first time participated in such big event. When my boss announced the event earlier, me and my team-mates were all looking forward for the event.

The event took place at the Billardbar at The Legends Fort Canning Park. It was a club house located in the town.

We were told that we will have buffet lunch, hi-tea, free flow of wine, house pouring, beer, juices, 3 mahjong rooms, 3 Karaoke room, 3x pool table and 1 snooker table.

With the above mentioned, all of us damn exciting already.

The environment was kinda nice and comfy. The moment me and colleagues (my team) got there, we immediately took pictures around. The bar, the surrounding, the pool tables etc.

Not too long after we arrived, the buffet was ready.

The curry chicken was very delicious, the rest were not too bad. I’ve got myself 1 bottle of beer and 1 glass of orange juice.

Before I start my lunch, I decided to sing a song to all my beloved colleagues (my team). Hehehe. I hope I did not sing very bad.

Well, there were actually around 60 people (we have about 100 people in the company) in the bar. But I did not know most of them. I only hand around with those I know and close with. All of us seldom meet each other as we were based at different location.

Boss gave a speech and made a few announcements before we proceed to the hi-tea session.

I did walk around, rooms to rooms, play pool, drink and eat. So much things to do. There were competitions going on also, like pool competition, mahjong, beer drinking competition also. But I only took part in beer drinking and I did not win any bucks. Sienz.

Boss was so generous, he play blackjack with all of us. He only got one mission, to lose the whole deck of the $2 notes. Note that we do not need to play with our money, if lose just miss the chance of winning $2, if win means winning money from boss. Hahaha.

Looking at the mahjong room so small, he decided to move out of the room to continue his mission.

I guess there were around 30 people playing with boss, included myself. Just joining the crowd, you know. Not like I could win big money from the game. Hehe.

Oh, there was lucky draw also. And again, I went home empty handed. No luck. But I do have fun. Thank you boss and all my beloved colleagues.
