My One Week CNY holiday

I started my CNY holiday last tuesday, which was 2 days before Chinese New Year. One week past really fast. I had a great holiday with my family. How I wish I can stay longer. Hehe.

Since I was back home 2 days before New Year, I went shopping with mom again. Did not buy much, but had fun trying every shirts and dresses at my auntie’s newly opened boutique at Kota Damansara.

We had our reunion dinner with my uncles, aunties and cousins at Chuai Heng Restaurant One Utama. Those dishes were as normal as wedding dinner one, like shark fin la, BBQ pig la, BBQ duck la, mushroom vege, blah blah blah…

After reunion dinner, went back home and started our gambling session. Gamble with sisters and brother at home till late night. It was pretty fun, because long time we never get together. Miss them so much.

As for the day one of CNY, we visited grandma and grandpa, uncle and auntie. Gamble and eat as usual. Take angpows. Ho Ho Ho!

On the second of CNY, we went to uncle’s house at Kota Damansara (Mother side). It was always more merrier there because there were more uncles, aunties and cousins. Theme color of the year was Royal Blue. But not everyone can get the right color as they have no idea what is Royal blue, although we did tell them the blue was like Pepsi Blue.

I get more angpows there. I did won some money from Mahjong, Blackjack, Rummy game.

The following 2 days, did not meet up with many people. Went for movie (Kung Fu Dunk), Yum char at Pavilion (because I never been there), Cheong K, mahjong again. Then I pack my bag back to Singapore on Monday (11th Feb).

How quickly it was my one week holiday at KL. So regret that I did not take longer leaves to meet up with more friends. Gonna be smart next time.

I have different feelings to go back for Chinese New year celebration as I am now permanently working oversea, did not see my family and friends as frequent as I used to be. The kind of excitements and expectations become stronger. But I am still fine, missing them is good. :)

Gong xi Fa Chai again to everyone. More photos at my facebook album. Thank you :p
