Cely 完美的一天

I went back to KL 2 weeks ago to attend my grandparent’s Golden Wedding dinner (50th Anniversary). I took a day off as the dinner was held on Sunday, I can only go back to Singapore on Monday.

My grandparents were very cute and sweet that night. They have never looked so grand before. But I think the coat that my grandpa was wearing is kinda oversize.

The dinner was the common one, where there were 8-9 dishes with a dessert in the end. All 5 tables were fully sponsored by my dearest auntie (granny’s only daughter).

I was told that my grandparents were very gan jeong (excited) for few days already before the actual dinner. It was like their wedding again back to 50 years ago! I am sure they are excited about it and have sleepless nights. So cute.

Well, as their granddaughters, we bought them this custom made mini doll (the dolls should look like them, but it does not.).

Jace who was doing the make up for me grandma, asking my grandpa how does he feel on the day, and she got a very adorable answer from my grandpa, “Very happy, I am marrying Xiao Long Nu (小龙女).” in a very shy tone.

Here they are, dancing happily at the dance floor.

Of course we had a wedding cake for my grandparents. The cake was delicious and looked beautiful.

There was nothing special about the dinner, but the memories were special. Really happy for my grandparents. Everyone in my family make the effort to attend this dinner, this has made my grandparents even happier than celebrating the golden wedding.
