Jason Says “Kluang Station”
I was in Kluang last weekend for a short weekend getaway. While I am not going to blog my whole trip here, I will just focus on the original Kluang station. Yes, the original one, not the franchised and over priced Kluang station.

As the name implied, it is situated right next to the railway. Every time the train enters or leave the train station, prepare to hear the old school train horn. Classic, I tell you. While the coffee tasted generally the same (to me), the price differs from its counterpart by a huge margin.

Of course, I ordered their half boiled eggs and toasted bread. Funny how the bread isn’t the usual bread, but rather custom made bread. Round and super soft and fluffy bread, slightly toasted on the outside. Flooded with kaya and smacked right in between is a thick slice of butter.

Now, that’s a simple yet totally satisfying breakfast. More at Jason Mumbles - Kluang Part 2.

Jason Mumbles a lot about Kluang Station. Hehe
One Utama also got, but i never try it before.
I frequent Tesco Shah Alam’s branch for their slice bakar.. the bread was normal, but the kaya and butter portion was gobsmackingly generous.
And I had dinner at 1U’s branch just now while waiting for movie hehehe, hainanese chicken chop.. no comment la, normal chicken chop lo..
But hor, Jason mentioned his original Kluang Station is not like the franchised 1.. so should be different la
Andylkw : Hehe. Yeah, I mumbled a lot.
Cely : The franchised one is really over priced.
And maybe not nice too.
RealGunners : Haha. It’s very very different.
custom made bread? hahhaa.. home made bread la..
so long never eat this kinda stuff edi.. make me hungry only..
CincauHangus : LOL. They aren’t home made loh.
Cause I don’t think they have the time. The bread stocked at the corner were like few ten of thousands.
Kluang station? I think this original one taste far better than the one in 1U..
Last time I had been visit Kluang there when I study in Batu Pahat. But that time i donno what’s famous there. Just taste some malay foods, yong tou fu and the steamboats.
Ya, i like the hainamese style chicken chop in kluang station!
Jen : Far better than the franchised one. Really. I didn’t try that, my Kluang friend didn’t recommend me anytime. T__T
Wah.. real authentic one. Must make a point to be there once at least…
