Jason Eats Taiwan Food - Day 3 And 4

Taiwan Food Galore : Day 3 And 4 : Sun Moon Lake 日月潭 And Alishan 阿里山

A brief description of both places.

Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of fresh water in Taiwan and has one of the island’s loveliest natural landscapes. At an altitude of 762m, the lake is backed by high forested mountains and boasts good weather year round.

You can read more about it at my blog - Taiwan - Sun Moon Lake 3.1 and 3.2.

Alishan has long been one of Taiwan’s top tourist attractions. While many other spots around the island are as scenically splendid, Alishan has a peerless draw in the wonderful old narrow-gauge railway (one of the only three in the world that still runs the route up from Chiayi 嘉義. Alishan is also one of the best places to see the sunrise, sunset and the glorious ’sea of clouds’ phenomenon.

Drinking my favourite Green Tea Latte at Asia’s highest Starbucks was nothing but ignorance and ignorance is bliss. Heh!
