Gold Class Experience

It’s our 7th Anniversary. We have been dating for 7 years.

There is no luxury present this year, I guess I have enough gadgets/presents/trip lately looking at what I’ve got for past months. Has been really happy with life lately. 

We did not plan to have dinner at any specific restaurant. No surprises for each other. Just a dinner together and a movie. Only the movie is a plan. We plan to watch it a Gold Class cinema at Vivi City. You know, still gotto make this day a little bit special.

We meet up after work. Went to Vivo City.

Our dinner. Nothing special. A typical Ramen Restaurant. With a lot of those annoying welcome wishes. I guess we just made the wrong decision on this coz the food is not nice.

As usual, Hongkiat’s favourite - Beef. This is Beef Don.

This is Pork Yaki-Soba. Tasteless. Not recommend! From the picture, we thought it’s delicious. 

Moonlight Okos. I think the portion was too big for 2 person. Maybe sharing among four is most ideal.

Fried Oyster. 

White Fish. I think this was the most tastiest among all the food. :p I love this one.

After the dinner, we walked around the complex. Browsing books at Page One. Bought a phone stripe for my Ice-cream. Then end up sitting at Modestos for a drink while waiting for the movie. Movie is at 12.50am. 

Hongkiat busy playing Bejeweled. Trying very hard to break my record. :p But still, unable to.

This sea view, is the one at harbour front, where people take those star cruise. 

Very windy. Very chilling. That’s why we decided to go to cinema earlier.

This is the first time we watch movie at Gold Class.

In the past, Gold class cinemas were never in my list of choice when comes to watch movie. Because I know it’s expensive. But today, we just wanna make our day more special so we bought tickets to watch Red Cliff 2 at Gold Class Cinema. It’s SGD 36 per ticket. 

Gold Class waiting lounge. Dim light. Comfy couch. Nice ambience. 

I didn’t know we can sit at the lounge to wait for the movie. Wasted time sitting by the seaside. 

Got free nuts while waiting for the movie. 

My hot chocolate. We were kinda cold because outside was so windy.

Belle, you see.. got bling bling crystals. Okay? :) Just that not stick on the phone. 

Inside the cinema. It was big. Spacious. Bigger screen. Huge gap between chairs. I counted, it has got 48 seats in the cinema.

You don’t have to worry people kick your chair. Also no worries about you ter-kick people’s chair. No more annoying long hair from front seat that will itch your leg. No more irritating big head blocking your view. 

There was this small table to put your food and drinks. Oh yea, you can order food from the lounge and bring to eat at cinema. There are people serving you. In between your movie, you can also make orders by pressing the button on the small table. First class service. 

But what disturbing is that, the food that people order are those fried chicken wings, sausage.. you know those smell is really … heavy especially in a close environment. Then there were those waiters walking around serving food, kinda annoying also. 

Anyway, all these are still tolerable. 

Haha, free blanket wo! You can adjust the chair. Can literally lie down and watch movie. Superb! Guess what, I forgotten to bring my jacket/sweater and I don’t need to worry about the cold-ness! 

The seat is superbly comfortable I tell you. Definitely will fall asleep. 

I fall in love with gold class cinema liao. A whole new experience to watch movie at cinema. I know the tickets are expensive. No meals/drinks included. But this is really something. Maybe we can do it again for those great movies or long hours movie like Red Cliff (2.5 hours).

Thanks for everyone wishes. I know what people say about 7th Year. :) Itchy 7th Year? Nahhh.. wont happen!
