Day 5 was spent waking up at 4am to watch sunrise at the peak of Alishan 阿里山 mountain, which was a rather crappy sunrise. However, the food at Chiayi 嘉義 was really delicious, especially the turkey chicken rice 火鸡肉饭 and the lotus seed drink 莲子汤. Read more…
We were at Kaohsiung 高雄 on day 6, which houses one of the most famous night markets in Taiwan, the Kaohsiung Liu He Night Market 高雄六合夜市. In fact, I personally think that Kaohsiung Liu He Night Market is far better than Taipei’s Shilin Night Market 台北市林夜市. I ate more food, took more pictures and enjoyed myself tremendously in Liu He Night Market compared to getting frustrated, restless and annoyed at Shilin Night Market. Read more…
