Our Wedding Invitation Card

I guess most of our invited guest should have got the cards, either by mail or hand. :) This card is specially designed. Those default invitation cards were all distributed to relatives. Our dear friends deserved something special. :)

I am glad everyone loves it. We love it also.

Initially, HK said he will design the wedding invitation card, but he was too busy. He decided to hire people to do it. We were lucky enough to get someone from China after some recommendation. At first, we were kinda hesitated whether we can trust the designer or not. But after some discussion with the designer, we believe that he can delivered what we wanted.

To cut the long story short, here is the process.

Our Idea >Mock up > 1st, 2nd,3rd amendment > Final design > Final touch up by Hongkiat > Printed (with spot UV somemore)

Front page - 2 cute little figure. Represent me and hk off coz. With our chinese name printed on the shirt.

2nd page - The details page. See the cute little figure? HK purposely make it that way, it’s like he hiding behind me. :)

3rd Page - The map of the venue. I only gave him a simple map and he redraw it and make it that way, I am pleased. Love the map. It’s like a lot of love pull together. Again, at here, I am hiding behind HK. Cute…~

The Final page - A Full moon. Totally represent our wedding day. It’s MoonCake Festival. It should be full moon on that night! :) The chinese characters -    人杰地龄 was taken from 人杰地灵, we requested the designer to come out a idioms that contains our names (or at least rhymes). 人杰地灵 simply means “the birth of heroes brings glory to a place”.

If you are interested in hiring people to draw or design something, I can recommend him to you. But he speaks mandarin most of the time.
