Yokoso Japan – Tokyo Disneysea
I know it’s been a while since my last post. I have too many distractions :p Latest addition is the iPad.
Anyway, back to my Disneysea trip. It was awesome. I would say there are many differences between Disneyland and Disneysea.
Obviously, the theme is different. Disneyland is suitable for kids and Disneysea is more suitable for adult. I think everyone knows this fact already. One is land based, while the other one is water based, shall I say sea based?
You see, all the rides and entire environment in Disneyland are so Kids-friendly. Whereas, the rides and environment at Disneysea are more thrill, in another word, more dangerous to kids.
I shall start my photos showering as per usual.

In the train. We still gotto pay few hundred yen to take the train ride from hotel to Disneysea. It’s just 1-2 station away. The Disney Train only circle 4 stations. Or was it 5 stations?

The first thing we saw after entering to Disneysea. The big earth like floating on the water.

It was a sunny day. Good weather, clear sky and COLD! I guess I also give the impression that I was very cold looking at how I covered myself.

All the buildings in Disneysea looks old and classic. it’s like European kind of castle.

The boat ride was the first ride we took. We had plans – we must take some rides today at Disneysea.

During the boat ride, there was a water show playing.

They were singing and dancing.

Who is that beside Donald Duck?

Besides singing and dancing, they also waving to everyone who is watching them.

You will see a very big river, then few bridges and a lot of buildings along the river. Maybe I should said it’s a very big port by the sea.

A man-made volcano.

That’s where we board the boat just now.

In Disneysea, they have a lot of machine rides based on water. That’s why it’s not really suitable for kids. i also did not see much kids around compared to Disneyland.

We took a fast pass for one thrill ride. Since we still have time before the ride, we decided to take breakfast at nearby restaurant.

Looks good, but taste bad.

This was the thrill ride we took. Not bad. A wooden roller coaster. I wonder why people would queue 3 hours for a 30 seconds ride. That’s very frustrating. We took fast pass also queue for 15 minutes.

This is Arab Street – Where we will meet Aladdin.

Aladdin’s GF – Princess Jasmine.

Nah, Aladdin. Leng Jai hor.

Everyone cut queue to take photo with him. Anyway, there was not any queue. People was just gathered around him.

The mosque! Actually I don’t really enjoy being at Aladdin’s place. Nothing much to see, nothing interesting. :p

Hongkiat was trying to shoot the sun which look like the below photo, with me inside the photo. But unable to capture a good shot.

Merry Go Round. My third ride of the day.

KAKAKA.

Jiak!

Lalala ~ ~

Another side of volcano.

Looking at the Disneysea Map. Trying to see where we can go.

Another thrill roller coaster ride.

While queuing for a slow ride. It’s a train ride.

A walkway to a very thrill ride. The fast pass for this ride finished very fast.

Yes, the center of the earth. We took a fast pass for this.

Late lunch. Another meal that looks good but taste bad.

The best was the puff with cream on top.

Tasteless soup.

The yummy puff~

Chinese food in a non-chinese country, hmmm… i doubt that will be good.

Then we walk around. Reach to an “America” side. If you notice, there isn’t much Disney characters around the Disneysea. I did not see my favourite Winnie the Pooh there. So sad.

A lot of people queue for the space ride. But we are lazy to queue. Fast pass has been finish given out. It’s only about 3pm.

Believe it or not, we were actually tired of walking. The leg were so pain.

We saw a few snack bar around. Thought of giving it a try. Also did see a lot of pop corn stall, selling different flavor of pop corn – Strawberry, black pepper etc. Smell good, but lazy to queue, I also can’t finish the whole pack.

We bought the Donald Duck Bun. It’s still hot. Cute. Both the bun and Hongkiat. Haha.

There were wild ducks running around the rest area. They were not afraid of people.

Somemore asking for food one. See it can Jump so high!

Big Ship parking there. If not mistaken, the ship is a restaurant. To dine there, it requires advance booking. By advance, meaning few hours earlier.

San Fransisco Bridge? And the hanging tower behind.

The hanging tower should be the most popular thrill ride in Disneyland. I suppose it has got one roller coaster that will come out from the tower and circle back in. There were a lot of people standing behind me watching it. But when we reach this area, it’s too later to even queue or take fast pass. I’ll save it for next time.

The Famous theater – Broadway. There were shows in there. You see, so many things to explore and yet we have so little time. Even we took 2 days to explore Disneyland and Disneysea, we still couldn’t take all rides and watch all shows.

A street performance.

Then we were back to the front entrance.

The floating earth at night.

Belle’s favourite kind of shot.

Nice hor?

The volcano was a bout to explode.

The evening shoot was great.

This was the big river we took out boat ride at the very beginning of the day.

If you wonder what were the 2 lines across the sky, I can tell you, they are stars. Star trail. :) Leng mou?

Our dinner. The most common fast food taste the best. The best food we ever had for the day. What we ate earlier during day was nothing compared to this meal. HAHA. Unbelievable.

We took this at the “America” side.

Another side of the restaurant. They have a stage show in there, but we did not know till we finish our food. Anyway, it was full house, there were no empty seats.

Probably the show was speaking Japanese which we won’t even understand.

Nonetheless, it’s still some entertainment while you having meal.

Some street’s view around the front entrance. Some were restaurant, some were merchandise shops.

Finally we were able to catch a show. A water show. I suppose it’s was a love story between fire and water? I don’t understand Japanese ma.

That was Mickey mouse dressed ridiculously standing at the top of it’s ship.

Some water spraying performance in the middle of the show.

Here comes the main character of the show – WATER. It should be a girl.

The shape did look like a girl, wearing a dress.

Here comes the fire dragon. Another main character.

Fire Dragon vs Water Princess.

Fireworks somemore.

Busy snapping the photos, busying observing the show, but don’t really understand why it end this way.

Both Fire dragon and water princess disappear in the end. There must be some stories about them, but too bad we can’t understand at all. Hahaha. So I was just watching how the water spray, the fire, and fireworks. We can feel the heat from far also. It’s good because sitting at open space was damn cold!

We decided to wait for the daily fireworks show at one of the bridges. We don’t really know where the fireworks displaying. Just guess it should be around here.

After waiting under the cold weather, few cups of hot chocolate, there it goes. The fireworks. The fireworks was from Disneyland, but everyone can still see it clearly in Disneysea.

I believe it should look magnificent from Disneyland. Whatever we saw here seems far. But better than nothing, since we have missed the fireworks at Disneyland due to sudden heavy rain.
Almost everyone leaves the park after the fireworks show. We then take the train and shuttle bus back to the hotel.

The train station was not as crowded as the one at Hong Kong, because not many people staying at the hotel nearby.

This is our hotel room. The cheapest among the nearby hotels. Cost over 6000 yen a night. It’s a cruise cabin themed room.

My Pooh bear merchandise for the past 2 days in Disneyland and Disneysea. I bought most of them from Disneyland, can’t find much in Disneysea.

We left Disneyland/Disneysea the next morning. It’s shopping day time. Ngek Ngek Ngek.
Really an eye opening trip to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea. After the Japan trip, we did revisit Hong Kong Disneyland. Suddenly felt that HK disneyland was OMFG small. HAHAHA.We can finish the whole park in 2 hours. Damn.
I will certainly visit again TDL (Tokyo Disneyland). Arghh, miss the trip now.
