Yokoso Japan – Sanrio Puroland and Tokyo Tower
Let me update a short post on where we went during the Tokyo trip.
If you have no idea what is Sanrio Puroland, it’s okay. But I am sure you know Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty is one of Sanrio‘s product. Besides Hello Kitty, they have Bad-badtz Maru, Keroppi, My Melody etc etc. Familiar ba?

The theme park is quite big. This is the outdoor.

Oh yea, they charge for entrance. It’s not cheap.

I was expecting the interior design full of pink color and Hello Kitty. I thought it will be quite a fantasy land. But this is what we saw.

The entrance for the Boat ride.

The place has all the entrance for all the rides. They do not have much rides. We did not take any rides as we just plan to visit and see what’s inside.

They have daily show for the kids.

They were teaching the kids to dance.

Jap chic has cute rabbit teeth :p

They are cute dancing together. But i had no idea what the song was singing about.

Sanrio Puroland is a theme park. But after visiting, I would say it the bankrupt place for Hello Kitty Fans. Besides having some rides, they have a lot of merchandises.

I like everything here. The color is so sweet, the interior is adorable, so candy feel.

Look at the merchandise. Guess what, luckily there is no Winnie the pooh shop. Else, i could be BROKE.

Awww… so cute right?

Don’t make your kids like Hello Kitty, you will be broke.

There are soooo many things you can buy. These are not all.

There was another plaza at another level.

Seriously, kids would love this place. So kiddy friendly.

Melody! I so wanted to take photo with melody, but not a chance. Kids run to Melody one by one taking photo.

There she goes.

Another kid..

Cute one. Seriously, i got no chance to take photo with Melody. Not even 2 seconds. Somemore I very shy to cut in when so many kids there.

The candy stall.

The cookies and candy stall.

Oh they have small arcade also. Cute hor.

We then decided to take a light meal there after looking at the sample at the window. Look so cuteeeee! Kawaiii des neh!

Look at the dessert, but dessert is never my favourite la.

Look exactly like the plastic sample we saw at the display window. They are genius! hehe

Taste normal la. Not tooooo bad, boleh la makan.

This was hongkiat’s meal. He saw the train bento look cute. hehe

No surprise la, all kitty face.
After an hour touring around the Hello Kitty land, I would say, “Don’t Visit unless you are die hard fansi of Hello Kitty.” This is nothing like Disneyland. But we went there for the sake of “Oh, I’ve been there.”
It’s very far from hotel also. The place quite ulu.
Then we went take photo of Tokyo Tower. We did not go up to the observation tower. Just tour around nearby. Take some photos of the Tower.

During my little research before we go Japan, I found the best place where we can have a good look of the Tokyo city view. ROPPONGI Hills it is!
This place is fantastic. The name very nice to read also. hehehe. Roppongi!
To go up to Roppongi hill, we gotto pay 1500 yen each person. Then the entrance fee will gain access to the Art museum and the observation level. Now they even open the Sky deck (top floor) for public with extra fee of 300 yen.

The view of Tokyo City! Pack and pack!

It was nice timing we went, we see day and night. :)

Another ‘Tokyo Tower’ Scene. The highways.

Tried to take a picture of me, but kinda failed.

We stayed quite long at Roppongi Hills as the view was really amazing. I was quite surprised that it was not crowded at all. There were people who actually sit by the window for hours just to see the lights up of the Tokyo Tower. :)
p/s: Oopps, it was almost 2 months i did not update my blog. *guilty*

Wow, really impressed that Sanrio Puroland is like a fantasy world. Wonder how much money they spend to make every little detail right, even down to the food having the Hello Kitty logo!
